在湖南省文联领导下，由湖南省民间文艺家协会牵头，联合湖南省工艺美术家协会、湖南日报联合开展的「记住乡愁」寻找湖南最美＂古村镇、老手艺＂活动，第一阶段首批评选工作已经告一段落。现将「湖南日报」综合报道转载如下：

1月15日，“记住乡愁—寻找湖南最美‘古村镇、老手艺’”活动评审会在长沙召开，经工艺美术、文化、民俗权威专家组成的评审团，从历史传承、民族特色、珍奇稀缺、民俗风情等方面对申报的86项“老手艺”、61个“古村镇”评审。最终，铜官窑陶瓷捏坯、踏虎凿花、滩头年画等10项“老手艺”获得“首批湖南‘最美珍稀老手艺’”荣誉称号，浏阳金刚镇等10个古村镇获得“首批湖南‘最美古村镇’”荣誉称号。
每一个古村落，都是一道亮丽的风景；每一个老宅都是一个家族的故事；每一项老手艺都是一项民族文化的传承。“古村镇”作为乡土建筑的精华，集人文、历史、建筑、民俗多种文化于一体，具有很高的历史、艺术、科学和旅游价值。传统老手艺，延续百年以上的传统行业，凸显工艺传承和民族文化。
“记住乡愁—寻找湖南最美‘古村镇、老手艺’”活动是由湖南省工艺美术协会、湖南省民间文艺家协会、湖南日报自2014年5月组织开展。2014年6月起，湖南日报社刊登了46篇反映我省风情古村镇和传统老手艺的报道；2014年10月，湖南卫视在“湖南新闻联播”推出“记忆乡愁”专题，至今已连续播出“寻找湖南最美‘古村镇、老手艺’”12期； 中央电视台中文国际频道还陆续播出了“记住乡愁”系列纪录片，在国内外宣传推介湖南的传统文化艺术。本次活动社会影响大、关注度高、意义深远，被《湖南日报》誉为“文化湖南”现象之一。
据悉，主办方还将召开表彰大会，并编辑出版《湖南最美古村镇、老手艺品鉴》。
