本报讯（记者 田芳）乡愁是人们心目中一种记忆，古村镇、老手艺是这种记忆的承载物，思乡的情绪往往通过它们而弥散开来。由省民间文艺家协会、省工艺美术协会、湖南日报联合主办的“记住乡愁——寻找湖南最美古村镇、老手艺”活动昨日启动。省内所有建制镇、行政村、古民居，居住在湖南或湖南出生的老手艺传承人或工艺大师都可参与评选。
每一个古村落，都是一道亮丽的风景；每一座老宅都有一个家族的故事；每一项老手艺都是一项民族文化的传承。目前我省仅名列中国民协需要建立档案的古村落就有72个，主要分布在湘西、怀化、邵阳、益阳、郴州等地。“古村镇”作为乡土建筑的精华，集人文、历史、建筑、民俗多种文化于一体，具有很高的历史、艺术、科学和旅游价值；传统老手艺，曾服务于一个时代、延续百年以上的传统行业，凸显工艺传承和民族文化。省民协主席曾应明说：“‘记住乡愁——寻找湖南最美古村镇、老手艺’活动开展可以把过去没有被发现、没有被宣传的古村、古镇、古街、古民居以及过去我们熟悉的现在快消失的一些传统手工艺如‘九工十八匠’等寻找出来，目的是引起大家对古村镇、老手艺的关注，唤醒人们对古村镇、老手艺的保护意识。最大限度地保留那些不可能复制、具有历史文化价值的老房、老景、老手艺的生产形式、生活习惯，是让人们‘记住乡愁’的最好途径。”
据悉，评选活动已在浏阳、桃江、江永、衡东等县市积极开展，省民协、省艺美协会还将组织著名艺术家到各地呈报的古村镇采风，并举办“记住乡愁——寻找湖南最美古村镇、老手艺”成果座谈会及展示汇报会，明年初将召开表彰大会，对获选项目授予“湖南最美古村镇、老手艺”称号，并编辑出版发行《湖南最美古村镇、老手艺品鉴》。
